Is this forum deserted ?

Hi Gonzo, sorry you've hit a wall of silence... I have to admit it's not the most active forum around, tends to wax and wane and we're having a bit of a quiet time just now. But welcome anyway - stick with it and if you're patient you'll find that you you do get interesting discussions with like-minded folks, just sometimes takes a while.

Ok thanks, i was looking for a collector really, i have a real beauty for sale, 1 that does not come along very often, a total gem GRETSCH G6193 in mint condition, i.e as new.

We actually get lots of people viewing the forum daily from all around the world, from casual interest to high-profile serious collectors. I just wish more people would actually post! So if you're selling, your best bet is just to list in the Guitars For Sale forum here: viewforum.php?f=14

It's free to list and I also publicise guitars for sale via Twitter (>5,000 followers!). But if you're serious about selling you need to include plenty of detail and decent photos (prefereably uploaded to the forum, not linked from elsewhere) - the more the better.

PS: Make sure you include the brand, model and year in the Subject; it then shows up well in Google to anyone who's looking to buy..

Hi red paul, we share the same name, mines minus the red though lol, i tried to upload some pics on here last week, but when i preview it no pics show up, what am i doing wrong ?
Ok i click browse, then click my pic, it uploads, i click add file then preview but no pics show up, i belong to quiet a few guitar forums, but only have the problem here !

ps i had a guy who really wanted the guitar but he messed me around, saying he had the money then not then can i hold it, then can he pay so much then the rest later and so on.

Not sure why you're having problems with uploading images... seems to be working OK for me... there are limits of file types and sizes, but you should get a message if that's the problem. If you can't get it to work just post the text then email me the photos at admin@guitar-collector.org and I'll sort it our for you.

I use photobucket.....upload a picture, then click on IMG. file and copy
and then paste wherever you like , like so....
