Hello everyone! New to the forum. I'm 52 and have been in love with the guitar my entire life. Got my first guitar when I was 7 and have been playing ever since. I own a couple of Les Pauls, and various other guitars and basses. I'm a Kentucky Colonel, a Navy Veteran, and currently work as a multimedia specialist in Lexington, KY. I'm looking forward to meeting a few like-minded folks and learning more about vintage instruments. This past winter I made some miniature guitars (not playable) at 1/3 scale. I've attached a photo for you to check out. I'd like to hear your opinions on those. They are about as accurate as I can get them. The bodies are hand carved from mainly basswood, but I also use mahogany on the Les Pauls. I made the hardware originally with 3ds Max (a 3D modeling/animation software) and had it printed with a 3D printer. I have built 9 so far.
