FAQs updated - October 2009

I've decided to allow trade adverts as a trial, as long as their directly relevant to guitar collectors and identified as trade. I'll be keeping an eye on it and won't hesitate to reverse this decision if it gets spammy!

If you're a luthier, guitar tech, refinisher etc., feel free to introduce yourself and advertise your services.

UPDATE AUGUST 2010

We're getting a few people who sign up and make pretty-much meaningless posts in order to get links in their signature.
I can spot such things a mile off (I have a lot of experience in SEO), so if your only reason for being here is to get backlinks, please don't bother. I routinely delete signatures and/or ban users, so your effort will be wasted.

If you're interested in guitars and genuinely take part in the conversations then I've no problem with signature links, within reason.

Just trying to keep the forum clean and relevant...

Paul

Hi guys, I own a music store in India which was started by my grandfather in 1908. We pioneered guitar making in India, but now we sell guitars from global brands.
I had a friend collector of guitars and he passed away suddenly a few years back.
His wife has entrusted me sell the guitars
There are 150 guitars (yes 150) and they contain the following :
Fender Telecaster 1954
Four Fender Stratocasters 1955/1956/1958/1960
Fender Jazzmaster (formerly owned by Joe Walsh of Eagles)
Rickenbacker (formerly owned by Chris Diffrod)
Gibson Les Paul Map of USA stars & stripes signed by Les Paul
A few Les Pauls signed by Les Paul
etc etc
Can you help me with finding a collector buyer ?
Best
Peter
