Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. I am a collector of slightly less than 20 guitars (mostly archtops) and banjos. The last few months I have been playing my Epiphone Elitist Broadway just about everyday. I see it as a heavy duty tool. It is easy to control. Lightweight archtops are fun too, but somehow I have been gravitating to the Epiphone. I have designed and built a "long 5" banjo (this is a 5-string which has the 5th string go the full length of the neck) for which I use the tension ring as the tailpiece as well.

Besides my interest in the instruments themselves, I have an interest in the storage of and access to instruments. I have a recent patent on a new guitar case rack (US patent 8622226 for those who are interested in that sort of thing).

Anyhow, I would enjoy hearing from collectors out there who have similar interests.
