I just stumbled across this website - http://www.geocities.com/johnlennonsguitar/325v59.html

Entitled "JOHN LENNON'S GUITAR - a Rickenbacker fanpage", it contains loads of photos of John's famous 325v Ricky, and a few rather sketchy details of its various incarnations.

"Even on its own, this guitar is a work of art. When put into the ever cool, ever capable hands of John Lennon, it becomes a masterpiece. Sometimes a guitar is just a guitar. And sometimes it's a 325v Rickenbacker. "

She's clearly obsessed... but in a good way! ;)

Looking at that photo, I've got to say that John Lennon could make any guitar look cool! (especially in black and white). 8-)

But then again, Rickenbackers always look cool toooo. ;) 8-) There's something "not quite mainstream" about them, if you know what I mean.

I'm afraid that I don't like that particular guitar much, I do like Ricks as a rule, but that one looks like it's got the knobs off an electric hob on the pots :o Image
