This guitar left the Gibson factory in 1978 as a Les Paul Firebrand. Some time around '82 I was in a metal band and while enjoying a time of narcotics and booze I took a jigsaw to it in an attempt to make it more "metalish". It went through several incarnations including a Khaler tremolo, barbed wire paint job, blood smeared paint job..... Many of my musician friends have expressed their horror in the defacing of a Les Paul but hey, it was the 80s. I don't know what happened to all the origional electronics and hardware over the years. It currently has Asian pickups. I filled in the hole I'd cut for the tremolo and repainted it solid red a few years back. It has an awesome neck and ebony fingerboard but it's difficult to play sitting down and doesn't ballance well when wearing a strap.
Chalk this one up to.......You decide haha
