Most of my gear is at my office, since it's where my bands practice after hours.

There's also a batch under my bed, a couple under the stairs, one amp each in the kids' rooms, and some stuff at church.

Haha.. I'm glad it's not just me who uses that "solution"!

But when you turn on that desk fan you're gonna have papers all over the place :o

Nice!

The problem I have is that I don't have an office*, so I need a spouse-friendly solution... at the moment there are guitars loitering in just about every room of the house... not to mention the sitar :o . My new 'solution' is that I get all my guitars together and easily accessible in the guest room, as long as it's still useable for guests (usually my lovely teenage nieces :) )... hence the guitar wardrobe mentioned elsewhere...

*if my wife is reading this: yes, I know I have a shed, a garage, a workshop and a summerhouse... but none of them is really suited to guitars!

Yes, they definitely need to be kept somewhere climate-controlled!

haha this is fantastic! you definitely aren't the only one! Where I am currently living I literally have 1 corner in a room, for my stuff....the corner is stuffed full with my guitars, ukulele, clothes what not! it's crazy, this will change in the spring though, thankfully

I can also relate to this but in a different way. In my college days, we always hang out at the office of my friend's dad where he also stocks his musical instruments. His father was so cool for always willing to help us whenever we have a play at school.
